Undergraduate Research Assistants (RAs)
 
Getting involved in a research lab is a great way to advance your academic career! Regardless of whether you want to go to graduate school, research experience and a strong letter of recommendation from a faculty member who knows you well and can speak to your strengths will benefit any post-graduation plan.

Minimum requirements: 
  • 3.0 Major GPA (within the Psychology or CHAD major)
  • Experience and comfort interacting with children, adolescents, and families
  • Commit to minimum one academic year working in the lab (two semesters - Fall and Spring) (~5-10 hours per week)
  • Must have openings in schedule at various times throughout the week (e.g., mornings, afternoons, and weekends)

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working in a psychology research lab
  • Experience working with children and families affected by ASD and/or other disabilities
  • Proficiency speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish
  • Strong organizational skills and genuine interest in conducting the research and connecting with families

Graduate Students
